Promises too Good to be True?

It seems like almost every day we get calls or emails from SEO “experts” making unrealistic promises and guaranteed rankings. They offer “free trials”, “lowest price”, and “secret” strategies.

SEO is hard work and takes a serious amount of time to do it correctly. Keep in mind that no one can guarantee a #1 ranking on Google. Google itself says to beware of anyone that promises this.

Be wary of too good to be true promises. What distinguishes those who really know SEO from scammers is their history and background. Request samples of work and references, make sure that you verify that the company is reputable. Your best defense against scams is becoming more educated.
